boost....

is there a way to control your boost using ecuflash?
i was messing with it today, and it looked like i found where you would change it, but it wasnt in like psi or bar....it was like 254 and 256. am i looking in the wrong area, or what kind of units does it read it in?

use the search button. there is a thread or two that show you how to do it. you do need restrictor pills though.

The "Boost Desired Engine Load" and "... Offset" tables directly control boost. But, as mentioned above, the stock restrictor pills don't allow for much change in stock pressure.

The values you see there are references to load values, not pressure. The value in the boost desired table added to the load offset table determine the desired load values. Load is directly related to boost, but there isn't really a direct conversion from one to the other. But, basically, the higher the load value, the higher the boost.
