Went racing last night and after he first race I tried to race again and could only get 8 lbs of boost while brake boosting, checking tonight the wastegate acuatator was stiff, we unplugged the the boost control solonoid and still didn't build anymore boost, looking if anyone has had any similar experiences and could help me. Car runs fine in general

 

you do a boost leak test?

 

The WGA is supposed to be stiff. You could have a boost leak, bad turbo, or a few other issues. You need to do some further investigation. Pull the intake off, check the turbo for shaft play, then a boost leak test.

 

Did a boost leak test, found my aps bov was stuck open, lubed it up and what not and now it's fine, however ever since I've had he car the bov has fluttered, and now it doesn't, can't decide if it's a good thing or not

 

So while working on my car I installed the stm egr blockoff plate and my car runs like brand new, and I'm not sure if I'm going crazy, but my shifts are insanely smooth and I know longer hear any clutch chatter at all, my car used to "buzz" into 2nd and 3rd until it got warmed up but now it doesn't do it at all, I know that the egr and transmission are unrelated but it really seems like it's fixed all of the problems the car had, any answers for this? Thanks
