Mitsubishi logger live mapping screenshot

Works as you'd expect from the screenshot. Reads/writes take a few seconds.

Shown are my 93 octane (no meth for these) high octane fuel and timing maps.

John, superb as usual. One question though, in addition to this being live tuning is it also live tracing as well as per most standalones? I saw the Map trace tag so I wasnt sure but either way, very awesome (in the correct sense of the word) work.

The logger knows RPM and can know the real load, so I'm sure we could highlight the presently accessed zone no problem. It would be nice to have a datalog facility that populates the ignition map with colors to indicate peak knock sum in that zone too. And if you have a wideband to indicate highest AFR value over the top of the fuel map. This is nicer and quicker than going through logs. Just needs some GUI/VB gurus to get onto this. I've asked if Jack will make the logger open source to allow this sort of modification. He is considering the logistics of putting it as open source. I tend to be less practical when it comes to writing stuff, like to work a concept and then move onto another. There is as always all the niceties of error checking and idiot proofing that need to be done, I'm no good at that stuff and not interested in it I'm afraid.

The knock sum thing would need another button on the form that just runs a loop listening to knock sum, RPM and load. I've tried to look for the controls that allow you to change the color of a cell on a datagridview, but I can't find them. You'd just take the nearest load and RPM cell and check the present blob color on that cell, and change it "higher" - probably from green towards red for say the 0-6 range. Another button to clear the coloring etc.

This would be EXACTLY what I'm looking for. I thought I read about something like this being developed in the future for EvoScan, but it sounds like you've already got the basics down.

It would make adding fuel/taking out timing in knock areas MUCH easier than it is right now with a log.

Thanks for all your work on this!
