I would like to shed the notebook and have realtime live monitoring fed to a palm pilot. Anyone have a such a beast rigged up?

 

what logging software are you going to use? i use a pocketlogger with a palm, but it really doesn't log what you nedd like evoscan or mitsulogger does. you can't see octane number, knock, or a number of other things. all i can moniter is things the obd sensors pick up. rpm, timing, tps, fuel trims, are a few. but not enough.

 

I wonder if the new "I Phone" will work.

i used pocketologger before evoscan and i would check on timing and i saw -1 or -2* being pulled i thought there was no problem when using evoscan i saw knock sums go as high as 15

 

Does anyone know if the tactrix cable will work with the palm and pocketlogger? I have a palm and pocketlogger but not the cable...

I would also be willing to by a windows CE based OS device. Porting the mitsulogger or Evoscan should be possible. Lugging the laptop and using it during racing is far from ideal...

 

A solution to logging on a device that runs windows mobile 5 would be nice as well.

 

I'm looking for anything really. I'll buy a new windows compliant palm if I have to. The notebook is too big and bulky for logging during lapping days which is what I need to tune for.
