Injector scaling ? AFR - WOT
Injector scaling ? AFR - WOT
If I get my fuel trims spot on (
) and when testing WOT I see my AFR is running richer than before (Eg was 11.5 and now is 11.2), Can I rescale the Injectors to sort this out? (scaled at 665, should I try 680?) Would I also need to re-adjust the latencies to accomodate the injector scaling? Or not?
A bit confused
I need some clarification please

No, don't touch the injector scaling. Your use your fuel maps to then tune your AFR.
The injector scaling and latency values are used to get the trims in check. Once your trims are good, then use your fuel maps for open-loop AFR tuning.

Yeah once your in the ballpark, then you can work with the maps..
The value in the map, and the actual value are never "Spot on" unless you spent TONS of time with all of the latency settings available (there are 2 more settings besides the voltage latency, but not really that useful to adjust)
The closer your trims are for low/mid/high the closer the fuel map values, and actual AFR's will be.. However Intake anomolies, and other things that can affect load slightly will always skew the values a bit. Be happy that the numbers are close enough that you can baseline changes.
