cold start acceleration enrich table?

Aside from the standard acceleration enrichment map, has anyone fereted out the warmup/cold start accel value (or values)? I've got an 03 with a few mods that is a miserable B** when its cold, and after datalogging it appears that the PW the ecu is generating during warmup is higher than it really needs to be, Timing doesn't seem to change much duriing warmup so I don't think its that (altho if such a table exsists it might not be a bad idea to see what +/- timing does during warmup, I know a little helps my volvo)

There are a few people that are interested in this (Lucas English is one) becuase of E85 and cold as well. There is a seperate table for the actual starting (like pre-running) and then the 03-05 will go to the High ignition map. You could crank up the idle timing some to help, there is only 5* in the factory table.

Other choices include, set the open loop values near idle to 10% (idles at 12%) and then manually add fuel during the winter months.

I've already got the timing cranked up at idle to around 12 or so, it idles fine, its the right off idle acceleration thats jerky and violent, I'm told its 'just a characteristic of these cars' but it seems to me the root of the problem is an overly aggressive cold acceleration enrichment definition, and the datalogs seem to bear this out, hence my curiosity about the exsitence of a cold accel table (perhaps a multiplier for the stock accel enrich table), it seems that that should be the case as the problem goes away and the accel enrich PW's are lower once the car hits around 150 deg. F.

Sorry to Hijack...

Are people turning up their idle advance in tuning? Or just to compensate poor running?

If you think its miserable now, you should have driven it cold with the stock injectors on a cold day. Too much throttle and it would throw you into the windshield.

Of course. Should be there with a new and improved 335. Hopefully the part makes it here in time before the meet.
