please help car not starting!

i just swapped many parts off of my stock 04 evo from my friends crashed 05 evo (most of the parts below) and then we also swapped ecu's but my car is not creating a spark is that due to different immobilizer codes in his ecu that's now in my car and my keys code
today im going to mitsubishi to get my immobilizer code from them and i just purchased the tactrix cable which should allow me to put the code that's on my key into the ecu and also so i can make some adjustments in the tuining and log everything
will this allow me to change the code on the ecu so that it matches the key and then will the car start?

The 04 and 05 ECU's are most likely different, and you cannot use one in place of the other, hence all of the dfferent ROM ID's.

You will need to put your original ECU back in to your car, and get it tuned (My guess is you wanted the tune from the 05 car, and thought you could just swap ECU's)

The code thats on the key is not your immobilizer code from what I read on here before. Also TK is right, the 04 and 05 ecu's are not interchangeable. Unless you swapped in his entire drivetrain, there is no reason for you to use his ecu.

Also, just because you swapped his parts on doesnt mean his tune is interchangeable. Put your 04 ecu back in. If you really want his tune, download it to your laptop then compare the octane and ignition tables to your stock tune. That should give you an idea of what has changed.
