Should i pull some more timing
You should be able to get 2 byte working, but you will have to have the ROM disassembled to get the correct memory locations to point request IDs 00 and 01 to. You also need to find your MUT table to locate request IDs 00 and 01 in order to mod them . What is your ROM ID and do you know if a copy is posted on a web site anywhere?

Until you get the 2byte working here would be my suggestions in addition to what has already been said.
Log only essentials, but log the Hz airflow and I will tell you how to get really close on the load. If you can (only because I didnt really see it listed) delete the cat. Leaded fuel has killed it already if it is still there. The other thing about it is the cat will elevate EGT's because of back pressure.
Also elevation can affect knock since the turbocharger has to work outside its normal efficiency range to maintain the same level of boost. Since its an EDM car it has the US/EDM style MIVEC map. I would strongly suggest changing this to the RS because the add'l advance definitely makes the car less knock prone. Then again I only have the proof from my car and others that I have tuned, there are those that feel the opposite. Its always worth a try though.

I have a different Mivec Map ....and it well advanced at 2500 it advanced by 28.8
Cat!! thats the first thing i chucked out LOL!
I know about elevation and seen as we at 84 kpa barometric pressure my turbo has to make up the 0.2 bar extra and works harder therefore hotter air.
so ye that about it as the car is now i have never seen more than 4 counts of knock as i have Tephra CEL knock flash mod and it set to flash at 4 counts.
i did lean out the map a bit, it did feel smoother but i would be hard pressed to say it made more power
