The map tracer had a bug in it at first. It just recently got fixed up. Its nothing against you man I have been testing all the betas so I am guessing thats why I had mine for testing

kreionoc, is overexag about the week part, he means 3 days, 4days ago it did not work. and he is one of the only few people actively on msn messenger giving feedback on the maptracer. just today from his feedback alone, 5 new maptracer features have been fixed/added.

I'd love to beta test the map tracer, the only thing thats stopped me from contacting you, is that I really have no idea how to use it.

So best off leaving it to the people that know how to use it, and what there doing

Glad to hear that the maptracing is progressing. It is a major hassle to cut and paste into a logworks .dif file to get the maptracing features that program has. When you are on a dyno with the meter running (cha ching) time is money.

I am thinking of writing a macro to copy the necessary parameters into a new .dif file unless EvoScan w/map tracing hits the streets soon.

BTW Even though Evo4Mad said that the original purchase would include updates, I support the extra $10. Most people do not understand the time and headaches it takes to make software apps work. Keep in mind folks, not too long ago we only had Techtom and ECUTek where we were talking big dollars (thousands!!!) or even worse "tooners" with an attitude.

I'm eager to try out the Map Tracer as well. Keep us informed on a projected launch date.

Edit: No I will behave . There are many of us here who know that all to well and I don't think that is the root of the issue (at least for me).

Hamish YGPM again.

Note I did say "most" not "all". I was not directing my statement at anyone in particular just speaking in general.

I think that Evo4Mad has learned a few lessons along the way. He probably should have been more conservative at the outset e.g. not state open source, free updates, not give deadlines for releases. In spite of these issues, I still am behind this project mainly because I got sick of dealing with a "professional" that made you feel like they were doing you a favor to tune your car. I also find this stuff fascinating.
