Help with Knocking at 7000RPM

Alright i currently have a street tune that i copied from another evo owner.
I'm running 19psi which is what it was tuned for. when i run evoscan i have one knock here and there but when i redline it right at 7000 i get like 7 knocks pretty consistantly. So i was wondering what can i change, whether it be in the fuel map or timing? or something else? I'm also running 91oct in cali. I provided pictures of my fuel map and ignition map. What other info do i need to offer?

Street tune Fuel map

for comparison
Stock Fuel map

Street tune Ign map

for comparison
Stock IGN map

Notice timing wasn't changed...hmm

Thanks.

I see nothing different with your ignition maps? Hence whoever tuned you, didn't really tune you. If tuning is sex they just touched your *******.

It seems your running too much timing with too lean AFR on 91. No one cannot be sure without a DATALOG though.

Probably too much timing up top if you are running more than stock boost. What are your mods?

How does the MIVEC look? Is it stock? You will be hard pressed to get away with 15 degrees advance top-end on 91 octane.. unless you're filthy rich.

2cents.

try dropping the 180, 200 load cells down to 12 or so and 8 @ 220 at 7000rpm
maybe a degree less at 7500 etc.

I don't have any experience with IX but lowering the timing is the most immediate step until you know what the afr is.

if it helps you can try to back it up some.

Might just be a bit lean for the timing add a point of fuel at the top.

Post the logs and the mivec map. Ignition looks the same, fuel map looks a bit leaner than stock in a few places. A log with a wideband would probably be most useful.

Fuel map at 7000 since his lean spool is still on would put AFR's at 11.5 +/- .1 with normal mods.

I doubt the MIVEC will make the knock at 7K, but never know.

Well map 1 on a IX is cold running map which looks stock and most tuners don't mess with it to much. We need to see timing maps 2 and 3 to know what is going on.

Try changing the lean spool feature to shut off at 8k rpms - The stock value is 7k rpms (reason for 8k is that you will never get out of lean spool since you wont rev that high...i hope) It could be the jump from lean spool turning off in conjunction with the fuel mapping in that area that is causing it to knock right at 7k as you describe it...

Also why are your 280-300 load cells leaner than the 220-260 load cells? This could be bad if you ever over boosted....
