Exclamation Disable IACV

Is there any codes/xml values out there that can disable IACV (aka stepper motor), I know there is some out there for the EGR. This would be great for guys who run meth and have fried a few IACV's.

tephra, gunza, touringbubble, or mfred HELP

I actually saw the post on this earlier when he figured out what it was that was his problem. I am actually right now running no IAC or ISC what ever you want to call it. Anyway I have my undone because i went with a new intake manifold and a large bolt pattern TB which is from BBK. I have to just set my idle with the throttle cable thats about it. Im sure there will have to be adjustments made down the road for a/c but i dont know what you'll have to do besides give it a lil gas yourself or dont let your car idle.

You still can. It would be the same way i did it. you just unloosen the bracket on the manifold and pull back so that is holds the plate open. know what i mean or no ?

No disable bit so far found - but if you want to make it stick to a fixed amount of steps - then put in the Idle stepper lookup table everywhere the same value. The it will not move anywhere - so if you put 1 - you have it closed.

I think because i have my ISC totally off that my car is fine setting the throttle cable for the idle. Im trying to see if that HKS IEDs will help this matter out. Havent gotten to much feedback yet though.

the BISS on top of the TB if the idle is too low I can do like you did and adjust the tb cable.

Alright i was just unsure what you planned on doing. I want to know how the HKS EIDS work because my ISC is totally off having the BBK throttle body. If it works decently id like to grab it and throw it on so i dont have to worry about the ISC especially when i want to go with water meth injection and they just melt anyway.

So you are saying that changing the idle stepper table did not help?

I have not messed with the idle stepped table at all. My car is more than likely running through it but it doesnt do anything seeing mine is disconnected from the TB but i left the plug in so i dont throw a CEL. Im sure the car thinks its still there so i havent had any problems with it being off yet other than the usuall cold start you have to give it gas like it was a carburetored car.
