Just downloaded EvoScan 2.0 (didn't get an email so I had to pay the full $25 again ) and I cannot seem to get the Map Tracer feature to work.

I converted my .csv file to .xml try to load the .xml file along with my .hex file and nothing happens.

Is there a step I am missing or something I am doing wrong, any help is appreciated, thanks!

What .csv file did you convert to .xml?

I just load my rom definition 88840016.xml (from the rommetadata folder of ecuflash) and the current HEX file that's loaded in my ecu, and i'm good to go.

No csv or anything.

 

Looks like I was making a mistake then, I thought I was suppose to convert the log .csv files to .xml, my bad!

 

lol....nope...that XML is for your ROM ID not the datalog....

Yes, I didn't get an e-mail and couldn't wait so I paid the $25 again (instead of the $10 upgrade )

Although that it is not what I thought it would be, I though this feature would offer live map tracing, seems there are also a few bugs that still need to be worked out.

Is live map tracing when you can actually see the cell that the ECU is using while in operation?

 

yeah he going to give you his info so you can use it to get the software for free.

 

my map tracer wont work for me.....i load my xml file and my rom but when i ckick on what i want to trace nothing happens
