OK i didnt talk to hamish, but i realized you cant delete the ROMs that it comes with. If you do, the program refences the .msi file and puts them back. Yours probably didnt work cuz the program couldnt find the .msi file, which is in the .rar file. Regardless you should always use the ROM that your working on, cuz the load/rpm scaling could be changed from normal.

Also, changing all the def. file works, and i think its a good idea.

I had the same problem. I emailed him several times and sent him the proper information and never heard back about it.

 

modify your ecuflash rom directory to point at the xml rom directory in the evoscan ROM folder.

I had the same problem. I found that logs recorded in v0.99 work fine when viewed in version 2 and also work on maptracer. So now I log with V0.99 and view with v2 maptracer.

I stumbled on it by accident as I noticed that logs I had made before upgrading to V2 worked in maptracer.

 

I got a reply to my email to evo4mad about the above issues. He said v 2.1 is coming with the maptracer tweaks.
