anyone have a "Stage 2" map?
Yeah I think that's Stage 7, but unfortunately it's copyrighted by the Bro. He also has Stage 8 for certain parts of our vast country.
For the OP, We dont have the equivalent of the osecuroms site where 91 octane "stage 2" maps can be downloaded for free. There's enough info in here for you to do it yoruself though. Get a wideband and read the tune your Evo thread.
UPDATE
Evidently there are some free maps for the IX. Didnt bother unlocking one to look at it.

And you would trust putting this map in your car?
Tuning is so friggen easy, it's not some sort of lost black art or rocket science.
Why would you trust a map that wasn't specifically set-up for your car. About 2 hours of good solid reading on here, and about a good solid two hours of newbie tuning out ont he road can net you a really decent tune. Once complete, post up your logs and you will get lots of constructive feedback on how to proceed further.
Don't trust some free map off a website, especially when you can do it yourself. Plus, doing it yourself is good, when the mood strikes.
Yeah,
Do some logging and some reading. BTW they do have some free evo maps on osecure, but there is no way in he!! I would use one of those, timing is WAY too advanced and you will be riding the knock sensor hard.

he used to be a wrx owner... used to be one of "those" rumbly guys ewwww jkjk
hes obviously lazy as f'''. you know how much time it would take to read those tuning articles and actually learn what is going on when values are changed around! GASP! that would be like a whole hour!!! no time for that
to OP dude get on that **** and start reading, nothing is more retarded than messing stuff up cause your too lazy to read a little and understand whats happening

Sooooo you trust someone else that you don't know thats giving away maps without a wideband? You are very brave or very stupid......
Hmm that doesn't make sense. You know how to tune but dont trust yourself without a wideband. But you will trust Joe smo has the a/f dialed in correclty maybe he has a wideband maybe he doesnt. Maybe he does but that doesn't mean its going to be anywhere close with your car. If you know exactly how to tune. Then you can get yourself in the ballpark with a narrowband volts. I would much rather use a volts and tune my self than just randomly put a tune in my car thats titled "stage 2 map" lol
I downloaded the one rom he had listed on there that was listed as "safe for up to 25psi on 91 octane" or something like that just to take a look...and there's no way. Timing is way too advanced at peak torque even on the "lower stage" map he has posted, and the "advanced" map looks like a bunch of blocks for timing. I kinda feel bad for all those people that download them and run them on their cars.
