I have just connected pin 6 to 53 (so that the sas is working, as I was told this will help with the pops and bangs), but now getting the EGR cel, so need to disable this function too

yep thats what will happen,
you could try and fit a resistor to simulate the egr or if you use a boost controller swap the boost solenoid to pin 6 that will stop the fault code but I ended up getting a P0400 EGR flow fault code,

also my perephery's are

56D0
0008
8A88
0300

as I have lean spool disabled
according to bez's perephery calculator changing perephery 3 to 0100 should disable EGR on 9055001,
I would also like to have my SAS back

Well looking on here, it says on the usdm change EFDF to EDDF in perphery 2

I've just checked through alot of roms, i've picked up on my travels around the web and all e7 roms seem to be 8889. 8A89 etc etc

But I have 1, thats showing as 88D9 (this is a modded rom file), so I am gonna go and try 8AD9 on my car and see if it does anything.

If not, will change it back and change 0300 - 0100 in perephery 3 and see if that does the job.

Will post back in a few mins.

p.s Why do you want SAS back ?

I only connected it as I was told it's needed to get the pops and bangs to work propperly, but doesn't seem any different so far

Just for your info mate

8D89 works for me on perephary 2

No more cel for egr, and no cels for anything else either.

As for the sas it does make a slight difference with the pops and bangs, not noticed any difference with the spooling times or agressiveness though.

So going by that, 8D88 should work for you too

Whats the deal with lean spool then ?

Lean spool switch it off its a pain in the *** when ya are trying to tune fuel maps,
as it leans everything out,

My lean spool start and stop addresses are:-

Start 1680
Stop 1684
Scaling is RPMStatlimit

This should enable you to change the RPM at which the lean spool operates. I've pushed my stop RPM to 7500 so the AFRs don't suddenly drop off. I've left lean spool on as it has an effect when you are in boost for a long time, richens it up a bit.

Periphery 3 is set to 8A89 on my JDM 7, I've got SAS, but no idea if I've got EGR, I would think not.

My perephery 2 was set as that, but it gave Egr fault code when I reconnected sas, so I changed it to 8D89 and it removed the EGR fault code.

perephery 3 on my rom is 0300, which is also an evo 7 rom (says edm but we know that it's JDM really).

in my case i would need the EGR. Disabling it only makes it harder to pass emissions. in my evo 4 engine. i have sas connected to pin 6. im running jdm evo 8 RA rom. making an egr and evap sim would somehow work with what i need to get by then. switch it off if need be.
