best thing is to swap parts one @ a time with a friend to see what the problem is.

I'll try swapping MAF's and see what happens this weekend. Thanks!

Now the o2 may be a little trickier, but I'll try to do that too.

Anyone mind taking a look at my cruise and idle logs? I would really appreciate it if someone could, maybe that will help gain insight as to what's really going on.

Here are 4 different logs.

On a side note, should my AFR's go rich when I shift? Like for a split second? Is that normal?

Judging by your logs this is what my car was doing when my maf went bad. But it could be an 02 upstream sensor as well. your afr's are all over the place . I think its one of the two that throwing your scaling off. No CEL's right?

your afr's shouldnt go rich between shifts, unless you have your bypass value setup to VTA

Also could you do the same thing what you did in evoscan but use mitsulogger. evoscans just shows 100 for low/mid fuel trims.

I could try to use Mitsulogger.

I haven't messed with my VTA BOV at all.

These logs were with a map done by a member, but I'll go back to my Jestr Flash and make logs of it. The jestr flash is much better and doesn't act up as bad as the members flash that I'm on. Does that mean anything?

so your bov recirc's correct?

Did you notice this problem after the member reflashed your car?

Do you recall anyone rescaling your injectors or maf via ecuflash?

if you could take a screen shot of the following tables in your rom: injector battery voltage latency, injector scaling, & maf scaling

His scaling is all stock as far as injectors and the MAF.

How soon after the 3 bar did these problems show up? Does the JestR flash have the correct settings for the 3 bar? I get similar issues after extended drives but nothing seems to be bad. I almost wonder if its not a side effect of the open loop mods for mileage. I am going to go back to just closed loop cruise for awhile and see if it makes any changes.

I kind of think there are multiple things going on maybe. Expect a PM here shortly

If I remember correctly yes the problem started after the member flashed the car. To add to that, when I reflash to Jestr's map the problem improves.

THe BOV is recirculated!

I'd say the problems were def there before the 3 bar MAP was added. You know I was thinking about the open loop mod stuff being a factor. I'll change back to factory settings for both and see if that changes anything.

I got your PM JB and you have one back!

There were only two other changes made. You can change them back as well to see if it alters the way the car runs.

Add these to your evo9base.xml if you havent already:

<table name="02 sensor (periphery 0)" category="Misc" address="faa" type="1D" level="1" scaling="Hex16"/>

<table name="Disable EGR/EVAP check (periphery 2)" category="Misc" address="fca" type="1D" level="1" scaling="Hex16"/>

The stock value for periphery 0 is 0x56da, and periphery 2 is 0xefdf.

If its not that then there is most likely some hardware issues, whether something is fighting something else or something has started to fail.

Is the evo9base.xml file in Evoscan? In that Datasettings folder? It's the Data file I assume? Or are we talking about Ecuflash in rommetadata under my rom 88590015?
