More Questions for tune my evo!

Umm! I need help with this questions.

A) -Engine stock of evo VIII resists 23psi to red line? Or only this pression to 5000rpm maximum for safe?

B) -Turbo Stock Evo VIII resists 23psi to red line?

C) -In 23psi of turbo, where is the Load in ecuflash, 260 or 280?

D) -For Add more Load boxes (Axis X) in ecuflash? My maximum is 260.

E) -For log MAP Apexi AVCR in EvoScan or Ecuedit??

F) -Is good AFR --> 2500 to 3000 : 12AFR , 3000 to 7000 : 11,5 AFR , 7000 to 7500 11AFR.

Verrrrry Thanks!! The next week-end tune my evo, and i need answers. And sorry my bad english.

Ruben

happy to see someone from Spain on board.

my impression of what you are asking is weak,...

it is rare that a stock VIII will maintain 23 psi much beyond 5000rpm. they typically fall off to around 17 psi at high rpm.
if you can maintain 23 psi to the top it is probably OK.
my VIII will only show around 230 load at 20 psi, and around 250-260 at 25 psi. you may well have a number higher with better tuning, and I believe euro evos are higher strung.
you can raise your map load figure but you don't need to until you out perform the table.

your suggested afr is fairly safe, and a good place to start. remember whatever afr you use adjust your timing to suit.

good luck Ruben and I hope some one can better answer your questions.

I have seen some VIII's hold 23 to redline because of how the intake was designed. Its not a matter of how much boost as much as the quality of the fuel and the timing (this is where the tuning comes in) that determines whats safe.

AFR's are good

If you can log boost from your AVCR then I would do that. If you can use the JDM 3 bar MAP sensor on your intake manifold, that is the preferred way.

To rescale you the load you need to remove a lower load area (like 20 lets say) and move everything over and then reassign the value. I will look for the link.

Stock turbo will make lots of turbine back pressure at high rpms when trying to make boost up there on a closed WG, but at 5000 rpm it can deliver more than enough boost. Decreasing valve overlap might balance this out a little by pushing the power towards redline

everyone has an afr they like. Ive seen ranges from 10.5 to 12. If your not knocking I tend to the leaner. Figure its like politics or religion. No body agrees and everyone says the other guy is a wack job.
