I would agree, they are a lot more efficient then their stock counterparts.

I suspect that also. I have just a turbo-back evo8 so I'll let you know if I'm able to pull off what you have, if I remember to.

As well as test pipe.

The most important things in my opinion to running big boost on pump gas are a very efficient IC and the least amount of backpressure as possible. His mods are setup very well for both of these conditions.

This most likely wouldn't be possible with the stock turbo, stock intercooler, and a cat. Just thought I would throw that out there just in case a few people start turning up their boost without monitoring knock levels.

Bryan, you are supposed to be testing 96530006, not turning up your boost. Get to work.

Of course, the whole key to running bigger boost is making the car efficient. I also wouldn't attempt this, well at least that much boost, with a catted car.

I also wouldn't think of doing this without tephra's knock CEL mod either so I can keep my eye on knock count.

As far as my cam gears, to be honest I can't even remember where I last set them at. I'll check and report back.

That run I actually started as if I was actually doing a pull on street and not for datalogging purposes. Meaning, I started at a higher rpm, and not at the usual 2750 rpm or so.

I had done a bunch of "logging" type pulls as well. I'm running approx 1-2* at 3750-4000rpm.

Not even a 100 cell catted car?

87 + 35r = 500whp will be a big thing this summer when gas goes up to $5

Good job as always, Bryan!

I had my car tuned for 24psi on 91... my tuner did a great job.
Everyone feels the car is extremely strong.
tbe, MBC, FP, and tune... no track numbers yet... I dont go to the drag strip much.
Also I think a IC and some sort of intake would help as we warm up in the spring in my case?
