Same issue as evo8dad, NLTS doesn't work for me for some reason, will post up a pic of settings shortly. I got it to start, it drives, runs good, valet mode works too, however...no NLTS.

cableguy5752 that o2simulator worked for me when nothing else would.

I think it works. I did what Tephra had suggested, which is enable everything within his mods except the valet stuff and it seems to have worked. The problem is that I have yet to confirm this for myself as the customer I was working with to get this correct did this remotely and had said he "thinks" it worked. I have a 011 ROM car here now that I am going to confirm this but, haven't gotten to it yet.

I'll post up exactly what I did to get it to work (or not) in a week or so. Sorry for the delay Dave, I just haven't had an opportunity to do this myself on a car, just remotely and the customer I was helping didn't seem to understand what i needed from him.

Is that right tephra? You can't use NLTS with the valet stuff if you are using 06 in place of 01?

No it should work fine.

Can you try the "garage settings" ie 20% tps, 0load, 0speed, start car and rev to 3000 and then push clutch?

Call me a liar, it does work with those settings...guess I just had all the variables in place and I hadn't met one of them. Is that what most guys use and then only utilize the NLTS under WOT? I guess when you're trying to get used to it you can really turn off the load activation point and go solelyl by tps?

Another thing tephra, take a look at this log if you get a sec. The top line is one from a 0011 log, the second line is from an 06 after the swap. I know the "estimated hp" isn't accurate but it's 12 off from one log to the next and not much changed, yet the torque is the same. Any idea why? Is there some calculation off in my new ROM, possibly one of the load parameters? I remember editing my old 0011 ROM with values to make the 2 byte load work but when I search for what I did before I can't find it. I did find one thread listing the values but the download for instructions and the xml code was broken so it didn't work.

Thanks! (donations coming!)

I tried it again today and got it to work fine but I'm curious as to what settings people are using...what drop in RPM's and such?

Question about this? I want to upload the new Romid into my current ECU which is the 96940011. My question "How do I do this process of changing RomId's for one to another?" Thanks for your time and efforts.

I flashed the 9653006 rom with the Tepra V5.10 mods to replace the 96940011 rom in my 05 usdm and the car will not start, I have read through the threads but still am not sure if I disabled the immobilizer correctly. Need help.
Thanks

You have to disable the immobilizer per the instructions in this thread. Then make sure you arent trying to start it with valet mode enabled. The default settings used to be set so that it keeps the car from starting. Not sure if that was reloved or not. In ECUflash, disable all tephra mods until you get the car running. Then try enabling them one by one, checking to make sure the car runs right every time.

I recently added a page to the wiki that covers this; let me know if it needs any cleanup or clarification:

Charlie B,
I have disabled the imobilizer by setting PERIPHERY '0' bit '4' to '0'.
I have also disabled all of Tephra's mods, car will not start, if I flash the original rom back it starts right up. Please be patient, I know I must be doing something wrong.

Just to make sure...Do this. This is how Ive had mine setup from before I implemented the blobits.

Change the default value of 56DA to 56D2.

I thin that is the process.
If that doesnt work, turn the valet mode stuff on, and try to deactivate it. Also make sure your init code (cant exactly remember if it causes an issue or not) and immobilizer is copied over. Im not sure if the latter 2 will do anything, but I guess it isnt bad practice.
