Here you go. Today's tune was the solid line.

That is an anti-surge compressor housing, but not the newest design that is being used. I think I have seen threads where that one doesn't work that well.

I'm still 99% that you are surging. That hotside looks pretty small...if I would have to guess I would say .63. You are just simply spooling that turbo too fast with your 2.3 and other mods. In my opinion, you need at least a .82 or even bigger hotside for your stroker and combination of mods. It will slow your spool a little bit and it will give you more topend.

There is only so much tuning is going to be able to accomplish here. It's more of a physical/mechanical issue with the size of the turbo hotside and your ability to spool it quickly with your mods.

Thanks for your input, Eric. Which hotside do you recommend, 0.83 or 1.06? We can take this to PM if you wish.

I don't have enough experience to tell you that. Very few people seem to be able to get a hold of the 1.06 housing, so there only seems to be data for the .82. I'm guessing the .82 housing will work much better with your particular setup and if that is surge that you are experiencing, the .82 housing should reduce or eliminate it.

I gave Forced Performance a call and asked them if it's possible to upgrade the turbine housing. The person I spoke to, Aneil, said the turbine that Buschur uses is a DSM housing size 0.68. He also mentioend that it wasn't possible to upgrade because they don't make larger ones in that design.

Next I called Buschur and talked to Nick. He confirmed that 0.68 was the largest size unless FP create some new larger ones, which they didn't.

Hopefully the GT35R to HTA conversion with the new compressor housing will remedy the surge. Going to pull off the turbo and send it to FP when I have some time.

Thank you all for your input. I appreciate it.

If the new housing doesn't work maybe clipping the turbine wheel would help stop the surging issue and improve flow. I'm not an expert in this field though
