yeah i was thinking about modding the box...but the open filter and MAS adapter were on sale!!! so i just had to pick it up...my friend also has this same open filter...it looks/sounds great!!!

taking some steps back...dont our evos come from the factory running pretty rich? if so...leaning it out with the open filter seems like the right thing...and yes, i know its been proven that our stock box is good...i just couldnt pass up a deal...

anyone with an open filter and mas adapter wanna chime in and give me some feed back???

yes almost all cars come rich from the factory. I have seen afr's stock for an evo ranging from high 9' to mid 10's. An open filter will not lean you out as much as you think. Also dont expect to jump to the 11's without no fuel tuning.
