Is it just me or is that log missing all the good stuff we'd wanna see?lol I can't see load or rpm or AFR. Was that your intent? looks like the ECU pulled 2* of timing from that 2 count of knock too.

Thanks for sharing.
With your porting work I was thinking you might've been able to get 20 psi by 3000 rpm. I think you said you don't start pulls at lower RPM. Why is that? Starting at 2500 maybe you can hit 20 psi at 3000.

There is an odd dip in boost at 4700 - 4900 RPM

Starting from below 3K introduces the possibility of surging

I have ported my exhaust mani and hotside and hit 26 psi by 3300rpm on the stock turbo. it should be doable.

I find a lot of transitional knock issues in the 2500-3500rpm range a lot. If you don't tune for it, you can hold that knock for the whole pull and kill your timing on that run. Though its the least likely rpm range for someone to start at on the streets, its still an area I feel needs attention, at least on a stock turbo.

It's a customized Data.xml. All the good stuff is logged, but some of it has been renamed.

This was just a quick on-ramp log. I don't mind starting pulls low, for logging purposes. In reference to what I said previously, I meant I don't drive around daily flooring it at 2500RPM, that calls for a downshift

The target boost on this log was 25psi, and I was overboosting to 27psi so error correction was fixing that. I have since changed my target boost to 26psi since the Shell 93 doesn't seem to mind.

Oh ok that makes sense. Add boost until it knocks man, shell 93 is some awesome stuff.

a full on PID control would be nice to tame the spikes.

So it would seem that Q16 is illegal to sell in Maine, so Eastern VP is going to have to find a way to get me a drum... I'll start a new thread when I get it back on the dyno.

I've got a 40psi boost gauge coming to replace my puny 30psi gauge

Still no word on Q16 availability...

An Aquamist HFS-1 kit and BC 280 cams are going on the car in June.

I'll head to the drag strip and see how much I can gain over 120mph. The first road race event is July 8,9 @ New Hampshire Intl. Speedway.
