Can I Run Stock 05 Rom on 03?

Hey guys, I just got my tactrix cable and I am very excited. I know I have to do a lot of reading and research and I don't mind at all. My question is, can I load a stock 05 ROM via Ecuflash w/o changing anything? I don't have any widebands yet and I can't wait to use my new tuning tools. I figure the 05 would be better to drive around than my stock 03 ROM until I can get a wide-band 02 sensor. TIA guys.

First thing to do is tell us which ROM ID you have in your ECU now, then we can tell you what your interchangeable options are

You need either
94170014 or 94170015. 94170015 is the latest version available. If I were you I would not subsitute any other roms!

+1 these are the only ones you want to upgrade to for the most part. Anything else has unknown results at this point.

You can't run a 05 rom in a 03-04.

Not sure why you think an 05 rom would be better to "drive around in" than your 03 rom.

Timing map is the same between the two. Fuel map is just *slightly* different.
