Broke my wastegate solenoid boost line

Today while installing a modifed pill on the turbo and solenoid sides I broke (punch) the line that goes from the T to the wastegate solenoid (that is the small one). Can I get any line that is about the same size or do I need any special spec or the original one? Will any rubber line work? What about line expansion?

Any vac line that fits properly on the nipples should work fine.

Also, the whole boost assembly from Mitsu is under $30 so not bad if you just want to get a whole new one.

Is it worth upgrading the plastic T pipe with a brass one? Do the boost assemblies from GST comes with two pills one on the compressor and the other pill on the wastegate solenoid side or does it has just one on the compressor side?

while you are there go and get yourself a GM 3port BCS.

if you cant be stuffed - dont forget to put the right pill back into your stock setup

I am tempted to go ahead with the GM 3 Port but that will take at least a week to get here. Also for stock turbo and pump gas I am not sure if it is worth over the stock one with modifed pills. I am chaging both the compressor side (using a slightly modifed GST, just made a conic area on both ends of the pill) and the wastegate solenoid pill, the solenoid side now is 0.078 mils (that about 0.018 bigger than stock).

Once the lines and pills are installed you do not need to mess more with them and I guess it would be close to the 3 Port, at least for pump gas.

The GST assembly has a upgraded pill in the factory location (compressor housing side) and the factory pill in the solenoid side. There is no pill, nor should there be on the wastegate actuator side.

Nothing is wrong with it but I guess the plastic one is more prone to get cracked woth heat and time. If it breaks the car will overboost.

I wouldn't worry about the plastic piece. They work great. If you want to get metal go for it but the plastic works just fine.
