Evoscan IDC reading 0

Hiya chaps!

for some reason I can't get any readings for my IDC?

they're all reading 0

I'm logging on a jdm evo 6 (standard ecu) using evoscan 2.1

my IDC formula is [InjPulseWidth]*31.25*x/1200

my IPW formula is 0.256*x seems to be working ok.

anyone got any ideas?

Thanks guys
Mark.

Make sure you're logging IDC after IPW so it can use the value in its calculations.

EvoScan's default IDC calculation is lame... I use:

LogReference="IDC%" RequestID="00" Eval="([InjPulseWidth]*[2ByteRPM])/1200"

You can use regular RPM (without the 2Byte prefix) and I bet it will fix this.

how did you get it to work request ID 00 is 2byte load?

If you look thru the evoscan data.xml the Fuel Consumption, Gear, & IDC all request ID 21 no wonder why it doesnt work.

Request ID 21 is for RPM, which all the things you listed require to calculate.

It doesn't matter what RequestID you use because I'm not grabbing a value from the MUT table to calculate IDC (notice how there's no "x" in the Eval)

I'm just using IPW & RPM to perform a basic calculation. Another variation would be:

LogReference="IDC%" RequestID="21" Eval="([InjPulseWidth]*x)/1200"

ahhhh gotcha thanks man

just rewrote some things in my data file, everything should be good now. I guess I didnt realize 21 was for rpm, I always use 2byte rpm.
