Stock Evo with flash, post your power results :)

Well its looking like I'll be using my stimulus check for a new fence, so I'll have to wait at least 2 months till I can pick up any actual mods. I do however have a cable and am very interested in picking up some HP and MPG. So, for anyone who has flashed a bone stock Evo, please post your results and your particular model year. Also, if you tuned yourself a .hex file would be great too.

I thought the same.

I made 290/320 on TDC's dyno (which has been recalibrated since zeus has been there i am sure) with blitz drop in, megan O2, megan downpipe and ported exhaust mani @ 26 PSI. Not bad for $300 in power mods.

yeah its been a while since i have been there so given you have an evo9 it must have been recalibrated. those are good gains for that money. i plan to go back there at some point with my current mods to see what i get..

That might be difficult as John moved the dyno to cali. He recalibrated it to read like a mustang dyno. He said a stock STi puts down 230 on the calibration i used.

And not one person posts a BONE stock number with tune. LOL. Evom at it's finest.

Here are two BONE STOCK down to the paper filter, the OEM boost pill, every single thing how it was when it left the dealer, both Evo 9's on 91 oct.

base run is stock tune, test run is with my base map (not custom tuned):

Here a some *slightly* not stock tunes, meaning 99% stock down to the paper filter. The only thing not stock is an upgraded boost pill (so I can customize and raise the boost curve) and custom dyno tune:

I took my car to Dyno4mance this weekend and had Bruce tune the car for me. The car was stock for the first few runs, then a MBC and flash was added for the rest. The car is a IX with ~15k miles.

with a full 3'TBE and with only 20-21psi tune you can get 300hp, import tune magazine had an article on it. Shoot with the stock pig rich fuel map I got 294HP. so 330hp im sure is easy with 24 psi tune.
