Perrin EBCS with EcuFlash

I'm trying to get my EBCS set up through the stock ECU. I'm logging boost with a Zeitronix ZT2.

My current mods are:
Injen intake
BR TBE
GSC S1 Cams
FP EvoGreen
Perrin EBCS

I've gotten it hooked up in interrupt mode and using the internal wastegate. I've also followed the direction from mrfred on setting up load-based boost control through WGDC, BDEL + Offset.

No matter what I set my BDEL+ Offset and WGDC to, I'm getting 20psi in WOT 3rd gear.

Where did I screw up in my setup here?

Thanks!

Are you using straight vac lines or the factory "T" line?

You have port 1 to the wastegate actuator and port 3 to the compressor housing outlet?

I'm going to double check all the lines tomorrow morning.

I'm using straight vac lines as I think only the bleed method needs the stock T line.

Would having one of my vac lines in the wrong port cause something like this?

Is it better to have it set up with interruption type or with bleed type?

You want to use the setup that runs only port 1 and port 3 and leaves port 2 open. I'm not sure which one this is. I had to use higher WGDC values with the Perrin solenoid than with my stock BCS setup w/ pill. Log your WGDC and see if it's capping ... max correction is 10 if you haven't changed it, so if you're running baseline WGDC +10 then you might need to increase the WGDC values.

I noticed a delayed response with port 2 connected to the intake pipe (trying for a clean, stock-like install), so I just left port 1 open like the instructions said. Doesn't seem like thats the issue though.

I took a look at the vacuum lines on my ebcs this morning and I saw that the installers set it up in bleed mode without a restrictor pill.

I redid the vacuum tubes so that it was set up via interrupt and now I'm spooling up waaaay faster and overboosting.

So without the restrictor pill, we'd be limited to whatever the wastegate is set to?

Going to retune it today so I don't blow up my motor. Thanks for the tips!
