I haven't tried it with 2.6 yet, however I beleive I had it working with 2.1

Also, read through that thread on the serial cable assembly carefully, as to which cable to use. Some of those serial/usb converters really suck.

I've used it with both v2.4 and v2.5 in standard (non-64) xp.
