Is anyone available in the NYC/Long island area able to help me get my uego to communicate with evoscan?? Uego is already wired to a serial cable and ready to go.

I'm running vista with evoscan .99.

I know that the instruction for wiring the cable are incorrect ... the instructions show the incorrect plug gender for the serial connector. That could be your issue.

If you look through that thread, I posted some decent pics and links for the parts you need. If you are running Vista that could be the problem too. Alot of people have had problems with that.

 

I double checked the male/female relationship and made sure that i used pin# 2 and 5.

 

Im in Florida how much you paying for me to come up there?
