EVO VIII mapping questions
Hi! I am new at mapping.Can you help me ?
when retarding timing by 7 *to avoid knock from 4000 rpm to 5000 rpm should I retard ignition wih blocks from 100%-300% load pulling 7 * back at 4000-5000 range?
the same question about fuel map . If I want to lean the afr by 0,5 points at the specific rpm range (4000-5000 rpm) should I block lean AFR adding 0,5 points from 100-to 300 % load at 4000-5000 rpm range?

usually, you do a datalog to figure out the approximate of the location in the RPM vs. Load table and adjusting there. Do the logging again and continue if needed... You may need to do the cells adjacent to it but try not to do big block.
