Patch Idea-gear dependent boost

Since the factory boost system has so many duty tables could a patch/hook be put in when the solenoid activation rpm is met, it checks the vehicle speed sensor to determnie which table should be looked up for duty cycle?

The much maligned lean spool takes into account gear when calcuclating AFR. Not boost but...

Lean spool is supposed to have richer AFR for higher gears and leaner for lower gears.

I like this idea. It's not a big issue for me really using direct boost control and keeping the + error correction, but the WGDC needed for set boost varies greatly between gears. Ideally, I'd say 1&2, 3&4, 5&6 could use their own WGDC tables, but 123 and 456 would work as well.

I'd like to think that letting 5&6 share their own boost tables could help save fuel as well for highway cruising/passing ...
