calculating MPG and AFR
Hey Ppl,
2 questions:
1) How can I work out my current fuel usage, is there some formula with RPM/IPW/time that will give me a rough fuel consumption? kinda like a trip computer?
2) Is it possible to work out AFR based on the fact we know how much air AND fuel we are injecting into the engine?
cheers

I love to know as well... evoscan fuel consumption did have something similar but I don't understand the data logged.
x*[InjPulseWidth]*20*6/[Speed]/1200
x*[InjPulseWidth]*20*6/[Speed]/1200

That looks like it should theoretically work correct. Basically just use IDC and speed, the common unit is time.
Not sure on the units though, scaling is in cc's, in the US we'd shoot for gallons, and 1 US gallon = 3 785cc....
