Prosport wideband gauge
Prosport wideband gauge
I hate to do this, but if you want an accurate AFR reading stay away from this gauge. it looks nice, its well made, but when it comes to reading an accurate AFR it is absolutely horrible.
I am getting sick and tired of getting cars with this wideband and seeing how **** poor it is vs what it should be.
For example, we took a car that was around 10.5 afr on the prosport, and swapped with a AEM UEGO and it went 2 points leaner in areas. this happened on multiple cars so far, and this gauge just in general doesn't work / read right.
Right out of the box its .5 AFR off right away, in WOT it can be up to 2 afr off.
Please be careful if you own this gauge.
Hopefully Prosport sees this and fixes their product!

I can also verify that the prosport wideband is inaccurate
- always shows .5-1.5 point RICHER, regardless of changing/replacing the sensor or re-calibrating it - when compared to other widebands (AEM / LM-1 / LC-1).
