I believe I need my 50k mile checkup done, but not sure if I should take it to the dealer because I had a friend tell me that Mitsubishi might reflash my ecu i have it currently tuned with who knows what.. :/ but it bypasses my o2 sensor cause i have no cat. should I still take it down to mitsubishi? or is there a shop I can go to? I am located in SLC,UT.

 

ok, so I was new to Evo's and didn't know it was 60k service. i am currently at 64xxx i got a quote for about $550 from a mits dealer here locally to do timing belt, balance belt, drive belt, spark plugs, trans fluid change, coolant flush (side note - my coolant likes to disappear, and i also have a leak from...... ??? :/ ) he said water pump is usually done after 100k and is $250 more... Anyone know of a write up somewhere about doing it myself possibly.

Things i want to attend to possibly soon:
clicking cv axles (i think)
leaking something underneath, possible TC seal, trans, or engine oil??
and regular maintenance for 60k mileage so i can get a bunch more life out of this car ( i hope )
