side note: does anyone else get random reconnects (where the lady tells you "logging engaged" and missing bits of data in the log stream?) Mine randomly seems to just a few seconds from time to time. of course its when i hope to have that part of the log to review...

thnx

If you just bought a cable it and it makes that light blink it shouldn't be the tactrix cable. Look for the OBDII pinout I posted in another thread and make sure you don't have pins 1 or 9. Information on making things work properly should be in that thread also.

Thanks frosty! It seems that I have the later style cable with pin 1, but without pins 3 or 9. So I should be good to go. I am however still puzzled as to why Evoscan (2.1) seems to "reset" at times and when it does i lose about 10 seconds worth of logs. (seems to do it more at lower speeds).

I wanna know why I'm logging these "saw tooth" graphs like Tephra mentioned.

it doesn't accept the number, even if you have entered it in correctly.

Where to now?
Thx Hamish for the quick response. I logged a support ticket on the Evoscan helpdesk and was sorted out with the download link.

Now I have a different problem.

I could never get my IDC/fuel trims to log with ver 2.1, even after editing the dtat settings with the info posted here on the forums.

Now that I have ver 2.3 installed, I was expecting my fuel trims and IDC's to work straight away. they don't and I have no idea what the problem could be.
Any ideas what I could check....

Thx

Is there a way to increase the sample rate - have found the subaru logging quite slow. Also is there way to log EVO9 mivec timing?

My logs are all jagged too. Map Tracer does not work it only gives me like 4 points on the whole map. Same in all three logs I did today.

Wierd. Seems like the log timing as mentioned

saw-tooth... just waiting to Hamish to release a fix.

Not sure what his plans are about it, maybe create some support tickets to get the ball rolling
