To answer your question: Yes you can tune for it SOME with the OE ECU... but it will still stumble and you will still wash your piston rings a bit and possibly cause some flaming burps on aggressive upshifts. Venting with a non blow-through MAS can never work well. You can get something like a GM MAS and do some really tricky tuning w/ your ecu and get the results you want... but I didn't honestly like my GM MAS too much. Very fidgety. Bro, please believe that it will be nearly as loud even if you recirculate your SSQ. One more thing... and hear this from someone who tried to make a SSQ work on a lancer: The thing truly sucks. That chuttering you hear IS surge and I have proven it to myself via testing. It is NOT how it is supposed to sound because of the dual valves. Trust me. Turn a DV around backwards (try the stock one) and it will sound EXACTLY the same as the SSQ. Heck, just pull the vac line off the SSQ and it will sound the same.

Bottom line: Ditch the SSQ, not worth it. Sorry man. I was where you are a couple years ago. The APS BOV is the best thing that ever happened to me.

Not a problem dude. Many people on here are really helpful to me. I try to be helpful with the knowlege I've come across too. Just understand that its those same people who know a good deal that aren't really going to even open a thread with "blowoff valve" in the title. Know what I mean?
