i have the wideband installed and it works great but when i try to hook it to the computer i cant get it to read in evo scan i have the serial cable hooked up just like it says on evom forum white to ground blue to number two port on the 9 pin plug so confused dont know if its a com port issue or what is wrong any advice would seriously help its a aem wide band uego

 

First off, punctuation is your friend. That was hard to understand Check your device manager and see what COM port your wideband is using. Make sure that it the COM port you have selevted in EvoScan.

 

Yeah i get ya. I already checked the com ports. Have the cable pluged into com port 3 and it says in evoscan that the wideband is reading to com port 3. I just dont get it man everyone says it should work but it just doesnt. I have the blue wire hooked to the second pin on the connector and the white to chassis ground is that correct from the uego to the serial plug?
