Question ECUFlash 1.35 Trys to read ecu and freezes

I just got all my software re-installed for tuning (evoscan, ecuflash 1.35 and Logworks3). Im using a Tactrix cable (Openport 1.3 M) and an LC-1. I got it all working fine, except for Ecuflash. My tactrix cable is older (around a year), but works fine with all other software. ECUFlash just freezes and the title bar says read ecu - ECUFlash and just sits there at 50% cpu (im on a dual core). I downloaded ECUFlash 1.29a and it seems to work ok. Any ideas on why any version above 1.29a flops. I know they changed the FTDI drivers at 1.30, but i tried old drivers with new ECUFlash and no deal. It has to be 1.29a. Any thoughts? I have a cable from Tactrix, it has a serial number after the OpenPort 1.3 Mitusubishi (xxxxxxxx) so i know its real. It just doesnt work with > 1.29a. Thanks

Mine does the exact same thing. Just use 1.29 and live with it is the only solution I've had.

Colby is aware of this issue. Its only affecting a few people though, so last I heard, he had not found a solution.

I think its affecting more people than he thinks its just that people like me are reverting back to 1.29. Last weekend 1.35 *****ed out on my friend.

I went back to 1.29 and haven't had an issue since.
