Same setup, transfering tune...
Hey guys, quick question.
I bought a turbo kit from a member on here, and have the same exact supporting mods (hks 272, ets 3" FMIC, buschur TBE, ETC) plus the turbo kit. Everything is the same down to the nut and bolt. With the turbo kit he gave me his tunes from sean ivey. Can I use these tunes safely? Should I still get it tuned? I'm going to upload it, and then check the knock count, and see how much I get and I think that will give an idea, but I would like some extra input.

I would not advise it, every car is different, so there for every tune is different. Every car responds to a tune differently. Get it re-tuned so you dont have to deal with the headachs later.
Same exact injectors - not just the same size? Start with low boost do a ton of logs to check for no knock and safe AFR. Post up your logs here and let us see how it goes.
just get it tuned properly - it will save you in headaches and time in the end anyways.
if you want a cheap option there are a few tuners on this forum that can help you out... I wont bother to list them but their numbers are growing (ie 10+)
