First Log (2 byte) take a look

UPDATE: My snorkle was not clipped down, I guess it wa getting sucked to the hood and cutting off air flow. Im got it fixed. I will be out for some loggs tomorrow....anyway this is why my load was going up and down.
This is a little chopped up Knock is on the left. I really need to get my keyspan adapter so I can long the innovate WB. Spiking at 24-25 psi. Mods are in sig. Here is my tune. All thoughts and flames welcome!

Knock left, timing on the right

mivec maxes at 28.8 so those 30's aren't doing anything.

You either have a boost leak or you are getting creep by looking at that load curve.

18psi or so at 7k isn't too odd for a MBC. Although 245 load at 7k suggests you are holding a bit more.

Don't trust a boost gauge.

290 load at 5500 k looks like boost creep to me. What wastegate actuator are you using?

There are a couple of great MIVEC maps to get you started in NJ's "How To Tune an Evo" thread.

Stock...I do have the Evo Power Mods O2 dump...So I think it would keep me from getting creep. I did notice the guage held 25 psi for a decen amount of time...

The load does not seem to match with the timing up top. Its showing 16-17* timing at 7k but load is ~240. I am confused.

Well the timming in the map is not the actual number (I think). If the map says 12 it doesnt mean the ignition timming is 12deg. The 12 is just a value thats coverted...so 12 should be 17 deg.

12* (x) = 17

Do the math and you should get the conversion number, x =1.416

12* 1.416=17

I think this is right but I cant be for sure.

Ah, I didn't even look at the logged timing.

Yes your 2byte load is incorrect. The ignition timing on the map is the timing the car is running.

Might be time to do some Maf scaling...

Looks like 200 load at 5500, not 290.
