having problems with knock
maybe you were modifying the wrong load cells. An intake can make your log reporting wrong load cells. For example, in the log it's 5500 rpm at 280 load when it was actually at 240 load cell. It's easy to tell by enter some fairly large delta value at the cell to see if it'll change. Like enter a richer number into a logging cell in the fuel table to see that spot will actually richer when logging.
You can't even begin to change any of your maps without logging what the car is doing. You need to know what RPM and load the knock is ocurring and preferably what the AFR is doing before you can even begin to change cells.
Read the sticky on how to tune an evo, or have someone more experienced with ecuflash help you out before you do any damage to your car.
i have logged the car many times and the knock happens between 3000-3500 at about 240-260 load, retarding the timing doesnt take the knock away, I was told that I might have to add timing as too little timing will cause knock
