I did it myself, but the map itself is pretty much stock, since it was knocking didnt really advance the timing. I just tried to retard some of the timing where it was knocking but doesnt seem to be taking out the knock since the timing still is negative. I guess I could try working on it more.

smooth out ur timing map using ecuflash's graph. there was a thread started by jack-of-trades that explains how to use it. basically your timing jumps too much. ie: one cell is 5 and the cell next to it is 3 then 5 again so etc.

open the logged file in Excel and try to modify the timing map such that the timing start out from 2-3* at around 3500 when you hit full boost and gradually step up to 11-13* after 7000 rpm. The smooth timing transaction will help reduce the knocks to minimal.

You also might want to rescale your load axis, looks like you are trying to pull timing out of cells on the upper limits of your load range.

maybe you were modifying the wrong load cells. An intake can make your log reporting wrong load cells. For example, in the log it's 5500 rpm at 280 load when it was actually at 240 load cell. It's easy to tell by enter some fairly large delta value at the cell to see if it'll change. Like enter a richer number into a logging cell in the fuel table to see that spot will actually richer when logging.

speaking of load axis...newbie question...

does the load % on the fuel maps and the timing maps have to match with each other? I've seen roms where the fuel map has 10-100, 120, 140, etc till 260 but then the timing map has 0-60, 80, 100, 120, 140, 160 so forth, then up to 300. 70 and 90 columns were missing.
