I still match the 3 maps, if you don't, the timing is going to be jerky as it tries to read from all 3 with different values. I still leave the stock low timing maps alone or even lower them for severe conditions.
thats good enough for me! thx Chris. Just updated and will try it out tomorrow. maybe it will cure my jumpiness during spool up.. what are the reasons why some people opt to make map 1 different?
Yeah set all 3 high oct timing to the same thing - makes tuning way easier.
OR just run my V5.10 patch, in which case #2 and #3 become un-used. #1 gets substituted wherever #2 and #3 are referenced.

listen i have obtain 394awhp 384awtq on my evo 8 with stock turbo. tuned by me, drived by me, and installed by me.. i have the two maps the same cause i use only pump gas... if youu use race fuel, then use the high octane to tune your car. and make the low octane more conservative. also the timming map.. high octane agressive. low octane conservative.. please check these at a dyno
personally I rather have the 3 maps since thats how the factory has it set up. But im forced to use 1 map since im using Tephra patch for the Cel and Valet mode.
no biggie. it really doesn't matter much
