Need a little help fine tuning

3 logs included, all done in 3rd gear from about 2000 to 7000. I made no changes to anything between logs. A few issues i am not understanding....Knock is abundant in first log, gets less in the second, down to a few counts of 1 in the third. All 3 of my HO Timing maps are set to be exactly the same. I dont know whether to take out some timing, or just leave it alone?

Next, Im trying to smooth my AFR out a little bit on spool up and at max torque. At this point i dont know if i should bring my "peaks" down or my "valleys" up. I'd like to bring my "peak" at 3100-3200 down a tenth of a point around 260 load, but it doesnt seem to reflect anything on my logs when i adjust 3000/260 . Also, in all of my logs, look at around the 3000 rpm mark. I will be rising in load, then all of a sudden it will drop to 160ish then back up to 260 and climb from there . All runs were done in 3rd gear. Mods are 3 inch TBE, cone filter, MBC @ 22-23psi, walbro. Thanks.

looks like your 2600RPM 160load is problamatic. 9*@12.5a/f. I would leave timing alone and dump fuel to get 12.1a/f and see if it helps. Post your MIVEC

I have the RS Mivec Map with a small variation:

I havent touched the Mivec map since it was tuned. I dont know enough about it to feel confident if i were to make changes. I am stumped as well as to why my load bounces from 220ish to 160 around 3000 rpm. I dont even know what to think, or what to adjust. I should also mention that i have not disabled lean spool.

your load is not dropping. My 2-byte load does that drop on occasion also, but if you look at the calculated load it doesn't drop. Dont worry about it.
I would add fuel in that 160load and decrease MIVEC 28.8 to 28.2 from 160load-300load also.

Ok ill drop it a couple tenths at 2500/160 till i get to 12.1. As for the MIVEC table, you are thinking dropping my 2500 rpm 160-300 load down to 28.2? What will this effectivly do? Im not questioning to do it, rather just what it will change. As i said, i dont know much about how MIVEC works. I havent read that far in the tuning handbook yet Thanks for your help, i will make some changes and run it again this evening.

seems the one log you get some knock and the other 2 look decent - random 1's. I always get at least one log that gets more knock than others, just kind of happens.

I would probably take 1 degree out in that area where its knocking consistently every log going into boost....take it out right before the knock is occurring and it should go away. (140-150 load / 2500 rpm area). The knock up top in that one log I wouldn't worry about it, happened at random, leave it be.

Do you still have lean spool enabled? if so disable it and re-tune the afr curve you will get it much smoother much easier.

The fuel is fine at 12.5 at spool up. You can drop it some but I dont really see a need. 2 counts from a 100% TPS pull started below spool threshhold and only have 2 counts is actually pretty amazing.

I have got load drop out and random spikes and think its as much Evoscan as anything else. I mean the 2 byte load jump over 399 I know isnt real and I doubt a sudden drop to 160 is either.
