How easy is it to configure these cables to laptops with windows vista? Is the top one posted from limitless, compatible with vista?

I believe the cables are configured through the software. I have Windows Vista Business SP1 right now on my Macbook and EvoScan and EcuFlash installed properly. When I get the cable and do some actual logging and tuning I post up here if I have any problems.

I just received my cable today. I'll test it to see if it works okay.

cable seems to work fine. I've loaded my rom into my computer using ecuflash and played around with Evoscan. I'm haven't done any reflashing yet as I'm still learning the way the programs work and don't want to mess up my motor.

I use the Limitless 1.3U cable and have done so for most of this year. It works flawlessly on my Vista Business laptop and I have been using Evoscan and Ecuflash v1.34 the whole time without a problem. Delivery was quicker than expected too, but I suppose being an Aussie and having NZ close by...

France! It's New Zealand. .co.NZ

The cable should look the same, but the 1.3U can also be used on Subarus.

I am going to order (today hopefully) a cable from Hamish. Now on the order page it says:
For Mitsubishi ABS/AYC support - put in the comments box on the next page that you want a cable without pin9.

I have an 05 Evo MR so I know I don't have AYC. If I request without Pin 9, does this mean I can datalog ABS? Or what does it mean?

And if I select without Pin 9, it looks as though I won't be able to do anything flashing with Subarus which is fine by mean, I won't use this cable on anything but my own Evo.

From the site:
Subaru 2002 vehicles use Pin 9 for reflash support, but it interferes with the AYC/ABS ecus on some
Mitsubishi obdII ports, so you can either break pin9 off the OpenPort Cable, or put a switch on pin9 from the obdI.

Anyone have any insight on this so I know what to order here? I personally don't think I'd ever need to do anything with ABS but can someone enlighten me before I order?

Thanks!
