I'm wanting to start using ecuflash/evoscan software and need to purchase a cable. It looks to me that the cable that everyone is using has been discontinued for the openport 2.0 cable. From what I understand, the openport cable dont work with anything yet. So how am I suppose to get a cable when the one that works, they dont sell, and the one they sell don't work.

Don't think so... It has the black part which is for reading the ecu, but it does not have the white connector that writes to the ecu...

 

I was wondering the same thing, I bought the 2.0 since the 1.3 is no longer made and the 2.0 doesn't work with Evoscan or mitsulogger. So I ordered the 1.3 because it says you can flash AND datalog with this cable, but now that I look at it I'm not sure if you can flash with it? It should be here today so I guess we'll see when it gets here. When I placed the order I told them I need the cable that will let me flash AND datalog, so it better be the right one!

Sorry, I meant to say the 2.0 doesn't work with mitsulogger and evoscan (someone walked into my office while I was typing) my fault.

 

I just emailed limitless and they said that the cable pic is just a generic pic since they don't have one of the 1.3 cable, if you read the description for the 1.3 cable it says includes the 12 pin and the 16 pin.

I've got open port 2.0, annoying that you can't datalog, works flawlessly for flashing though.
