ECUflash problem

i everyone. im having an issue wit ecuflash. everytime i try to read my ecu it just freezes and it doesnt respond. can anyone help me out and tell me wat could be the problem?

What version of ecuflash do you have and what cable do you use? I'm assuming Tactrix cable

im using v1.40 and im actually using an evoscan cable wit an ecuflash reprogramming cable
