Sometimes GPS signals in some countries are disabled intermittently for National Security reasons. try a gps aerial to try and pick up some satellites further away from your country.

yes this is possible I looked into it already. there are some cheap chipsets out there that can do this. It will take an electronics engineer to figure out.

I run 64 bit vista and I don't have any problems at all.....

I would uninstall the cable drivers and ecuflash and do a complete fresh install of everything, ecuflash first.

I assume I've got the correct drivers as I have installed EcuFlash with the drivers. Now when I click Start DataLogger I get, "Error: OpenPort2 USB Cable Not Responding. Both ends of the cable are plugged in. Does anyone know what could be causing it?

Thanks in advance.

Hi I'm really interested in the GPS touchscreen item but informations on it are not quite clear and your ticket support system reminds me bad experiences I had with other companies lol

So I'd rather try and post my questions here first if you don't mind.
And also the evoscan ticket support system has no specific section concerning the touchscreen.

1) what gps software do you currently provide with the touchscreen ?
2) how do the various maps work because I'm going to need several european countries maps : switzerland where I live but also germany, france, italia because I'm gonna use the GPS to go to various race tracks there (bresse & nurburgring nordschleife to name a few)
3) is that option enough to ship to switzerland : Upgrade International Courier, Track and Trace, 4-6 Days
4) what are the limitations of that version compared to evoscan on a portable pc ? for example can I connect a wideband to it or no ?

I have no portable pc (which I had no use for until I bought evoscan) and no gps (which would be a bit more useful to me) so currently I'm not sure which way to go.

edit :
I'm a complete newbie in the datalogging world and I only owned a Mitsubishi evo IX for 8 months so I'm learning things everyday.

I installed windows patches SP3 and for some reason, it worked with OP2.0. But the logging is very slow. Cant really be used for tuning. I guess we just have to wait for another version.
