Logging Boost Error Correction/ evoscan v2.1

ok i've added the two tables to my data.xml file like mrfred said in the ecu based control thread.

however in evoscan, i dont see an option where i can check to log it.....is there something i'm not doing?

You have to add definitions to Evoscan's file. You can write those yourself, it's easy to figure out once you open the file and look at definitions already in there.

well, seems i was able to add it....i had to add my items to the upper most portion of the data .xml file and they now appear.....but my boost error just reads a cosntant -3 and wgdc c reads a 0 all the time...so i dont belive they are working right..and my boost levels are hitting higher than what the desired boost is tuned at.

I'm having the same problem; boost error is reading -3.087.

The formula for boost error in Evoscan is: 0.0241*x-3.087 which explains where the -3.087 is coming from, but why is "x" only reading zero?

I just switched over to direct ECU boost tuning yesterday and it's functioning properly for me. It reads -3.087 a majority of the time when cruising but works when in open loop (like it should). I would say double check to make sure you made all of the correct changes in your ROM xml, ECUFlash if it's not functioning properly.
