Knock control - load vs RPM table found
evo 8 gsr 93660005 knock load addresses
Does anyone have the Knock Load addresses for a jdm e8 gsr 93660005 rom?
<table name="Knock Load" category="Knock Control" address="????" type="2D" level="2" scaling="Load8">
<table name="X" address="????" type="X Axis" elements="10" scaling="RPM"/>
</table>
I've had my car on a dyno with head phones, and we kept pulling timing to reduce knock b/w 2500-3500 rpm, but this had little effect - so we concluded it's probably phantom knock - twin plate clutch/exhaust/or just engine
higher rpm is fine.
It looks like the remaining 96530006 definitions can be used, as they produce the expected default 13, 18, 20, 2, 7 values.
<table name="Knock Multiplier - Low RPM" category="Knock Control" address="177a" type="1D" level="1" scaling="uint16"/>

<table name="Knock Adder - Triple Gain" category="Knock Control" address="177c" type="1D" level="1" scaling="uint16"/>

Knock load is at 3e7e and rpm is at 5b66.
This should be good for 96420011:
<table name="Knock Load" category="Knock Control" address="421a" type="2D" level="2" scaling="Load8">
<table name="X" address="6542" type="X Axis" elements="10" scaling="RPM"/>

Ok so my original rom is 96420008. Ive got all the knock tables up and running. the only problem Im having as the scaling of RPM on the knock vs load threshold table is off. Everything else is good.
Does anybody know the correct addresse for RPM scaling in the table in 96420008?
Thanks alot.

Try this
<table name="X" address="6532" type="X Axis" elements="10" scaling="RPM"/>
I've had phantom knock for a while due to a loud lifter tick.. could someone please post up the rom edit for Evo 9 0015. And help me out by giving me some basic changes that would help eliminate my phantom knock..
any 1 have the knock load tables for 9626009, i am getting knock counts around 3-3.5k rpm at 80 -120 load, i have listened with detcans and it is false,
Tried removing timing and it hasnt helped
thanks

Hello everyone, I am experiencing this same problem with my 2000 eclipse.
I was wondering if anyone already had the information to get these knock control tables for my rom. The internal ID is 2181002 and this ecu has the 203 processor which I believe the same as the evo 5/6

that will not work, I can copy the xml data into my xml and the tables will pop up on my rom in ecuflash but the address is wrong. It just shows me a blank white box.
